Youth Spring Term 2018

The Spring Term for our Youth Ministry commences on Sunday 7th January 2018 and runs until Sunday 25th March 2018, before our Youth Easter Camp, followed by a break on Sunday 8th April 2018.

Please refer to The Next Generation pages to find out more about our ministry groups and our disciple-making process, plus dates and details of events throughout the term.

Junior Youth Groups will be covering the following series:

  • Better Together – Doing Life In Community

This church is the community through which we are being made alive in Jesus and becoming like Jesus in loving God, loving believers, and loving our neighbours. Through this series, the youth will see that they are part of a wider church family with a unique purpose. None of us are made to go it alone, life really is better together!

  • 40acts – Faith In Deed

Lent marks a pivotal point in the history of the church, when Jesus prepared to give himself up as a sacrifice. Traditionally we mark Lent by giving something up, but what if it could be more than that? What if Lent was a preparation for a lifetime of big-heartedness? 40acts is a generosity challenge which invites people to do Lent a bit differently. This series aims to encourage young people not only to participate in the challenge but also to help them appreciate, as we explore the Book of James together, that Christians are called to put their faith into action. Faith in deed is faith indeed!

Senior Youth Groups will be covering the following series:

  • No Regrets – Moving Past Your Past

Everyone has a past. We have things in our past we wish weren’t there. Whether we’re dealing with stuff that people have done to us or consequences of things we’ve done ourselves, we can take comfort in this good news: Jesus came to give us abundant life. This series will explore how to move on with God’s help, and live a life of no regrets.
