We are looking for a full-time candidate with a strong calling to serve as a pastoral worker. The pastoral staff will be expected to preach and teach God’s Word, provide pastoral care, train lay leaders, be involved in developing the Mandarin ministry in the assigned congregation, and take on church-wide and other ministry responsibilities where appropriate.
We are seeking candidates with a humble servant’s heart and a spirit-filled godly life to shepherd our people.
We are seeking an individual who embodies the following qualifications:
- Language proficiency: fluency in Mandarin and competence in English is essential. The ability to convey spiritual guidance and engage in pastoral care in Mandarin is paramount.
- Pastoral experience: prior experience in pastoral work is highly desirable.
- Strong in preaching and teachings.
- Focus on family and small groups.
- Passion for evangelism and a strong prayer life
- Vision for the congregation’s spiritual growth and multiplication
- The applicant must hold a degree in theology from a recognised theological college

Chinese Church in London (CCiL) seeks to recruit a suitable part-time Pastoral Worker to join Colindale congregation to support the development of English ministry with a focus on youth, young adults and family ministry, reporting to the Colindale Congregation Council.
We welcome applications from those with a degree in Theology and some years of experiences working in English ministries. Fluency in English is essential and competence in Chinese is desired as most of the families are from Cantonese or Mandarin backgrounds.
