On the road to Emmaus, Cleopas and his friend were treated to a masterclass with Jesus on His Salvation History. As they walked the road to Emmaus, Christ walked them through Scripture, “beginning with Moses and all the prophets”, in order to reveal himself as the Risen Lord. We too journey with Christ through Scripture, in order to see His perfect plan of salvation for the world. We pray that our hearts also “burn within us”, as the Lord opens His Word to us.
