Chinese Church in London (CCiL) seeks to recruit a suitable full-time Pastoral Worker to join New Soho Congregation (NSC) to support the development of Cantonese ministry with a focus on bible teaching, leader training, women’s ministry, and pastoral care to the Cantonese congregation, especially young adults and university students, reporting to NSC Congregation Council.
We are seeking friendly and approachable candidates with servant hearts to shepherd our people. We welcome applications from those with a degree in Theology and some years of experiences working in women’s ministry and pastoral care. Counselling experience preferable. Fluency in spoken Cantonese and competence in English and written Chinese is essential.

- Mandarin pastoral Vacancy (Colindale) (Application Deadline: 15 March 2026)
We are looking for a full-time or part-time candidate with strong calling to serve as pastor or pastoral worker. The pastoral staff will be expected to preach and teach God’s Word, provide pastoral care, train lay leaders, involved in developing the Mandarin ministry in Colindale, taking on church-wide and other ministries responsibilities where appropriate.
We are seeking candidates with a servant heart and spirit filled life to shepherd our people.
We are seeking an individual who embodies the following qualifications:
- Chinese Language Proficiency: Fluency in Mandarin is essential for effective communication and connection with our congregation. The ability to convey spiritual guidance and engage in pastoral care in Mandarin is paramount. Spoken and written English is an advantage.
- Pastoral Experience: We highly value candidates with prior experience in pastoral work.
- Strong in preaching and teachings
- Focus on family and small groups.
- Passion for evangelism & strong prayer life
- Vision to congregation spiritual growth and multiplication
- The applicant must hold a degree in theology from a recognised theological college, or a current theological student.
