Renewing the missional church in times of persecution (1 Peter)
A sypnosis 1 Peter is addressed to believers under increasing pressure from persecution. This epistle teaches Christians to live victoriously in the midst of that hostility: 1) without losing hope; 2) without becoming bitter; 3) while trusting in their Lord; and 4) while looking for His second coming. Through living an obedient, victorious life under duress, a Christian can still maintain a strong, effective witness for Christ in this hostile world.
